soil

From Genesis to Revelation, the image of a garden is a theme that creator God rolls out as part of his vision for flourishing humanity. So often, we miss it in the hurry of life. We seek to cultivate a reconnection with the garden ethos.

soul

The soul, by nature, has no defenses: it is perfectly vulnerable. For this reason it is absolutely critical to whole living and utterly missing from our common experience. We seek to cultivate an awareness of and sensitivity to our souls.

city

Life together. It is a phrase feared or idolized, and rarely realized. Like many ideals, the practical experience is far different than the remote theory. We seek to cultivate rhythms that often result in a life-giving sense of conncectedness to others.

helping you reconnect with the things that matter most

We want to come alongside YOU -- to walk with you on a journey of discovery -- to reconnect with things that matter. We rejoice when we catch glimpses of a rekindled wonder of the soul. As we have tuned ourselves into the natural rhythms of the seasons, weather, soil, wildlife, and flora around us, it has awoken us in deeper ways than we could have dreamed. As we have received, so we want to share the gift of being present as a catalyst to transformation and growth for your life as well.

the earth, and all in it, is designed for abundance

Abundance. So much of the world and its systems are built on the false sense that "there isn't enough to go around." The earth is designed as a "more than enough" system, and leaning into the rhythms of seasons and the beauty of their intrinsic boundaries releases a sense of wholeness inside each of us. The first step in relishing reconnection is to notice that life is not a zero-sum game, but something we all can win handsomely in. In fact, with some small transformations in our thinking patterns and decision processes, we can all experience a life filled with abundance.

soul

an inescapable requirement and a difficult skill

Presence. It is a term often talked about and rarely understood. Perhaps because understanding must start with the journey of becoming present to oneself - not in some esoteric fashion, but as real as the tree outside: we are meant to experience the realness of our souls in the context of everyday life. To discover our souls, we must learn new skills. Like an artist learning to still herself in a meadow clearing in order to paint the wildlife, so too the first step in reconnecting with our souls is learning the landscape it calls home and placing ourselves there in a receiving posture.

city

the glue and the pollen

So often we are told to look for community. To specifically point our noses toward it and build it outright. Community, like the soul, is something that is hard to find when looking for it directly. Rather, it is a byproduct of healthy rhythms, the practice of presence, and a sense of connection. It actually isn't the goal of anything, but rather the engine in which the fuel of presence and abundance are put to good use. Plus, it's a beautiful gift to add on to an already abundant life!
